Flames have the 3rd longest losing streak in season openers in NHL history at 8. Anything other than a W against the Canucks will be shameful.

Well another season, another putrid season opener by the Flames. 0-7 on the PP and losing to the Jack Hughes-hopeful Canucks. Terrible.

Him and Lou seem to have brought some stability to the Isles. Those offseason FA signings of Komarov and Filpulla weren't looked at too postiively, but look to have brought some veteran leadership and depth to the team. Helps that Anders Lee has proven he wasn't a product of Tavares too. Barzal has really turned it up lately after starting the year slow. Originally Posted by Wrigheyes4MVP
