With the First round pick the bears select 1/2 of Khalil Mack
With the 2nd round pick the bears select Anthony Miller.

    Book it.

Kyler Murray, wow...too bad he's going to play baseball. He could be an awesome QB in this league with the way it's trending. He's a little on the small side, but he's also an elite athlete, so it may not matter with all the spread concepts and RPO schemes in the league now.

Kind of. They traded picks to get those guys but yeah, that's looking at it in terms of the glass being half full....which its obviously been. I love Pace's approach to the draft, his aggressiveness and decisiveness and his ability to be money in rounds 2-5. His 1st round picks, minus White have been rock solid as well. And if Mitch develops into a franchise QB which I think he will, then Pace is truly slaying the draft that few GMs could dream of. Also, heard Miller will be back after the bye. The injury kind of concerns me still though because shoulder injuries are similar to hamstrings in that they linger....but if he's fully healthy with no set backs that's huge.

This is pretty important when looking at where this roster is since Pace took over.

    2015: (2) Eddie Goldman, (5) Adrian Amos
    2016: (2) Cody Whitehair, (5) Jordan Howard
    2017: (4) Eddie Jackson, (4) Tarik Cohen
2018: (2) James Daniels, (2) Anthony Miller - probably still too early to tell with either player, but I'm confident they'll be starting here for a while.

To come away with impact players in every draft from that 2-5 range is an outstanding hit rate. This isn't even counting solid depth pieces like Kwit, Bullard, or guys we haven't seen enough of yet, like Shaheen, Iggy, Nichols.

It's why I'm not too concerned about not having a 1st for the next two drafts (and having Mack obviously helps too, lol). I'm sure we'll still land an impact player or two in both drafts either way.

    I agree.

It's such a relief to have a GM hitting in so many picks.

So much better than the past 2 GMs.

I think Pace will be here for years to come.

Trevor Lawrence is going to one of the most hyped QB prospects in a while, since Luck, probably.

It's ridiculous he's this good as a Freshman.

Yep I agree. For this year Haskins is far and away the best QB in the draft. Will be a similar situation to Mitch with one year starting. I'm looking forward to seeing where he lands.

You mean since Tua? Do not let tonight's game fool you (congrats to Lawrence and Clemson because they earned the win), Tua, imo, is the best QB prospect since Luck. I do believe Tua will be a D1 starter in the NFL. Lawrence is probably the 2nd best QB (or 1B to Tua's 1A) in the country.
    Screw sabermetics.
