    2018/19 Prospects Thread

We'll track all the prospects here. Liljegren, Sandin, Grundstrom, Woll, Bracco, Timashov, Engvall. Even with Kapanen, Johnsson and Dermott locks to play with the Leafs there is still quite a few good prospects to track.

Once the Marlies get going after camp I'll toss up another thread tracking them like last year.

Signed pretty early IMO but has looked good so far. Needs a couple of year probably to build on that 159 lb frame but I see a lot of Maxim Afinoganov in his game. More of these picks please Dubas!

Sandin to the A makes sense. His ELC can slide for 2 years, same with Liljegren. Basically have him playing pro for 5 years before his second contract. Marlies D is going to be stacked once again.

Holmberg looks like another late round steal... Give Thommie Bergman all 5 of our 7th round picks the next two years

Yeah that guy can sure hit on Euro's late in the draft. As far as our WJHC spects go, Ian Scott has been insane in goal this year. Fun to track. Liljegren and Sandin could actually be a pairing at the WJHC. That would be real fun to watch. Holmberg I know a bit about but Kral I haven't seen much of.

Kral has been injured but seems to be a Dermott type of prospect. Not flashy but moves the puck really well and a really smart player. Look forward to seeing him at the juniors as well.

Hoping Scott can put up a good showing. Haven't had a goalie there since Rask/Pogge.

Tangent: Pogge actually turned out to be be a pretty decent goalie in europe oddly enough and could have been Sandins teammate this year if he went back to Rogle.
