So after years of below average oline play, we have the 4th best oline in terms of allowing pressure.

For years Ive used the oline excuse for Eli and now he has a line and looks old and gun shy. Youd think with his experience wed see a little more of him like farve in his last few years, having fun and chucking it around. Now hes just pushing the system and still using the mcadoo high percentage pass option.

Hate to say it but its time. Hes the best qb the Giants ever had, but its time to let Jones start the rest of the season and see if hes the guy.

You weren't wrong to blame the OL 4 years ago when Eli still had the ability to make plays. It was **** and the Giants wasted the final good years of their franchise QB.

But now he's older and clearly not the same guy who won us 2 Super Bowls. Let's see what Jones can do.

He will have a good OL, an all world RB and decent receivers. There will be no pressure on the kid because everyone knows the defense is so atrocious the losing won't be squarely on him.

There is no better time than now to do this.

    Don't worry. He's got this.

Being reported Barkley will be out 4-8 weeks. Gotta think he goes on IR with designation to return.

I don't think he's a bust. I think he just needs the right motivation to pick himself up & play harder.

Your guess is as good as mine.

Speculation is that he will probably return after the week 11 bye and be available the final 6 games.

    - Following the injury to Saquon Barkley, the Giants worked out RBs Benny Cunningham, Fozzy Whitaker and Zach Zenner. Potential depth options to keep an eye on.

    - The Giants are expected to re-sign LB Nate Stupar, per source. He was released earlier this month. Stupar returns with the Giants short on healthy inside LBs. Alec Ogletree (hamstring) and Tae Davis (concussion) are in doubt for Sunday.

Corresponding move was waving TE Eric Tomlinson.

    - The Giants pass rush has quietly improved through the first three weeks of the season:

    QB Hits
    Week 1: 2
    Week 2: 6
    Week 3: 10

    Sacks
    Week 1: 0
    Week 2: 3
    Week 3: 4

    Some Twitter notes.

Isn't CJ Anderson still available? Would like to take a look at him.

Not as of yet. But, a Promotion from the practice squad happened. Based on Shurmers comments, they're still looking on the outside as well.

Giants have promoted Jon Hilliman to the active roster as expected, and the corresponding move is Russell Shepard to IR.

Free agent RB Jay Ajayi has informed all 32 teams that he is ready for game action and fully recovered from ACL surgery, source said. His market could heat up quickly.

Would be a good fill in until bark is back.

Be interesting if he can pass a physical and how he looks in a workout. If hes back in shape Id be all about signing him.
