I don't even know if that counts as a chick flick.. sure there was a pretty intense love story, but there was also death and mayhem.

Remember that the film’s first 20 minutes is essentially a swashbuckling treasure heist starring Bill Paxton trying to find a diamond. Jack doesn’t even see Rose until 35 minutes into the film, and from then on it’s only a little over an hour of romance until the iceberg shows up and it turns into a seat-of-the-pants action and disaster movie. It really has something for everybody.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

if Celine Dion is on the soundtrack, it's a chick flick.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it

Yeah, I haven't seen the whole movie thankfully but that ending made no sense.

well, I hope I am not spoiling the movie, but an iceberg hits the boat, Billy Zane is a dick as usual, and the boat sinks.

    Just saved you 3 hours.

Lol this is why I clearly asked if they counted or not. I'll give you the first two but I think Step Up is pretty close, Id even say the first if that one works better. I saw them on a list when i googled "Chick flick", just pick ones I know I have seen.

I challenge the idea that a theme song can make a movie a chick flick. Take for example the theme to con air. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10UQGJDkxGU

That's as girly a sing as you can get in quite possibly a movie no woman has seen ever.

That scene was to make the audience feel like the survivors of the actual Titanic. Their love ones died and they couldn’t do anything about it.

    Casablanca
    West Side Story
    Guys and Dolls
    My Best Friends Wedding
    Notting Hill
    The Fault in Our Stars
    Love, Actually
    A Walk to Remember

And I'm gonna throw in Top Gun because even though it is cleverly disguised as a "manly" movie at the core it really is a "chick flick"
