Yep even in the 1st game he had one long run that raised his average. He stunk it up in many of his college games. I'd rather have Howard personally.

Behind that offensive line i never expected him to look great.

I'm pretty sure his numbers this year (granted, it's been 2 games) are something like 2.4 YPC without that long TD run against the Jags.

Some of it has to do with his running style, some of it has to do with a pretty bad Giants OL & Manning looking cooked...but still, I wouldn't have taken him at 2 either. I think the Giants are going to regret that choice for a while, unless all the QB's after Baker (Darnold, Allen, Rosen) completely suck.

Mayfield looked good on his first drive outside of the fumble. Threw some darts.

He looks really good. He has that QB swagger.

I get verbally abused for saying hes gonna be good in my friend group.

Just led another TD drive for the Browns. He's looked good, but I'm not surprised either... been a fan of his for the last couple years. Baker can make every throw and the velocity he puts on some of them, when needed, is really impressive.

I hope for the Browns sake he ends up being great. That fanbase certainly deserves it.

I think Baker is already a top 10-12 qb. He's going to be good right away.

Hes got the confidence required for thr QB position. Nothing seems to rattle him.

Not too crazy to think the Browns can be a playoff team this year if Baker plays well. There's plenty of talent on that roster, they've been in every game, and the AFC stinks.

    I'll be rooting for them.
