It is more like they are sheltering the kids from drag queens until they are fully taught to despise them. Imagine the same ploy was used to keep children from playing with kids of a different ethnicity at one time.

I'm not going over this again and again. I made my position clear. 109 million people traveled for the holidays. Many of them went on vacation, were with extended families, had to fly to get to their destinations and I'm sure weren't following every protocol. I'd bet there was plenty of politicians in that mix as well. Do they all deserve to be called out? Do you feel better that she got COVID because of her actions? Does that make everything in your world right?

That and its the obvious conservative suspects who are going to call her out. Look, I've been critical of AOC. I didn't love the dress she wore to the Met Gala or the fact that she attended. I dont think it was the best idea for her to party during a pandemic but she could have easily gotten COVID in NY, in Washington, amongst extended family during the Christmas break with how prevalent Omicron is spreading. It still doesn't make what Cruz did a comparable situation.

It reminds me of the people who say they don't like gay marriage because they don't want to explain it to their kids. Like the couple needs approval from them or ease of explanation to children to have their relationship legally approved.

Are you this dense? What are the odds of those 109 million people who traveled that they all followed protocol every single second of their trips? Do you think everyone was having a masked Christmas with their families for example? As easily as Omicron is spread, you don't need that much exposure to it to get it. I know 4 or 5 people who caught Omicron and all they did during the holiday season was literally spend Christmas or Christmas eve with people they knew. They didn't even travel far from home either.

Maybe you lived in complete isolation from Christmas Eve to New Years but the rest of the world didn't.
