I just want to see everyone's perspective on this china thing. I can see it going both ways. Obviously right now we're getting hammered, but my fear is that we will hurt ourselves in the long term if china keeps their prices high for us.

I strongly support trump for wanting to shake things up with china. I just dont think his specific moves are good for us, I think hes just gonna hurt us in the long run. Hes so rich it doesnt matter how bad he damages the country, hell be ok either way.

Our farmers lost a market their fathers work on and maintain. China have develope other trade partners to get their agriculture needs. I don't think when it is over, the Chinese are going to drop them. Farmers, diary farmers are losing their land and committing suicide. He didn't protect their market. Trump is seeing why the previous president didn't press as hard as he is doing.

The trade war is affecting the Stock Market, by little or a lot I don't know. I do know it will end badly because neither side is backing down. Excuse me, Trump keeps doubling down. I bet it will take a new president to right the apple cart.

We've been taken advantage of by China for years. Trump is taking a stand. I can't fault him for that. I think China needs us more than we need them.

Why not build sneaker factories, iPhone factories, board game factories etc.in Central and South America. I've never understood why this hasn't been pursued. India is another place we should look into.

This might be tough in the short term but beneficial in the long term. We'll see.

Good observation. I think that's the worst thing about this entire thing. We just showed china that not only are there plenty of countries ready to cater to them the way we do, there is no other country that can cater to us the way china can. The last 5 months or so have made on thing very clear about us china relations. US is replaceable. China is not.

At Trump's North Carolina rally on Wednesday, the crowd chanted "Send her back!" about Omar.

Ocasio-Cortez rejected the president's claim he had tried to quiet them.

"He said, 'Oh I stopped it immediately,'" she said. "Roll the tape, he didn't; he kind of presided over the situation, he relished it, he took it in and he's doing this intentionally."

As seen on video footage, the president paused for about 13 seconds during the chanting before resuming his speech. On Friday, he called members of the rally crowd "incredible patriots."

To be clear, the reason AOC didn't denounce this person is her belief she was mentally ill. By saying Trump shouldn't have to shut down his supporters chanting send her back, are you saying that everyone in the crowd chanting was mentally ill?
