Seeing Antifa multiple times was good for a chuckle, at least.

I thought only FNK was still crying about the evil that are anti-fascists.

They aired it without watching it?

Wait a moment, and why am I not surprised? Because the right wingers were probably in the midst of some group orgasm as soon as they heard the words of beloved Saint Ronald.

And by the way, with the placement of Ms. Ocasio-Cortez’s photo where it was, you might wonder where are the responses from the reactionary nutjobs here on PSD (you know, the ones who were so apoplectic over Ms. Omar’s comment)?

because obviously only Conservative media is covering AOC.
(^ which of course is not reality, which I have proven already)

it's a shame how partisan you are. Antifa are your people, you never want to criticize them. despite evidence in how evil they are, but you would rather ignore that evidence.

this from AOC is just ****ing stupid.

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/dem...f-nazi-germany

Democratic Socialist Ocasio-Cortez compares climate change to 'existential threat' of Nazi Germany
Democratic Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Friday called for the immediate all-out mobilization of American industry to combat climate change, saying the "direct existential threat" it poses to the world is similar to the danger posed by Nazi Germany during World War II.

"So, when we talk about existential threats -- the last time we had a really major existential threat to this country was around World War II," Ocasio-Cortez, 29, told supporters at a town hall in College Point, a working-class neighborhood in Queens, New York. "And so we've been here before, and we have a blueprint of doing this before."

The insurgent socialist congressional candidate, who pulled off a surprise upset over longtime establishment politician Rep. Joe Crowley, D-N.Y., in the state's 14th Congressional District primary in May, was videotaped by an attendee's cellphone camera as she spoke off-the-cuff.

"None of these things are new ideas," she added. "What we had was an existential threat in the context of a war. We had a direct existential threat with another nation; this time it was Nazi Germany, and the Axes [sic], who explicitly made the United States as an enemy, as an enemy."

She continued: "What we did was that we chose to mobilize our entire economy and industrialized our entire economy, and we put hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people to work in defending our shores and defending this country. We have to do the same thing in order to get us to 100 percent renewable energy, and that's just the truth of it. It may seem like really big, like really ambitious, or really radical -- as people love to say, but the fact of the matter is that we are dealing with a radical truth, and a radical reality. And the more we choose to ignore it, the worse we are doing by our children and grandchildren, and frankly by ourselves."

Ocasio-Cortez's call for sweeping domestic and international action comes as her national profile continues to rise. She has spent weeks this year campaigning with fellow socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders this year to advance far-left candidates, but on Thursday she refused to endorse his prospective candidacy in the 2020 presidential race -- underscoring her own potential White House ambitions.

Her meteoric rise has seen several stumbles in recent weeks. In September, Ocasio-Cortez was caught flat-footed during an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper, in which she repeatedly struggled to articulate how she would pay for her $30 trillion 'Medicare for all' proposal, which critics called another example of her pie-in-the-sky rhetoric that would prove unworkable in reality.

She has also taken heat for banning the press from campaign events. Footage from Friday's town hall was caught on a cellphone camera and uploaded to the Internet.

And in Kansas this summer, Ocasio-Cortez seemed to compare Democrats' current fight during the midterms to the struggle over slavery.

“I learned that Kansas was founded over the struggle of the conscience of this nation,” Ocasio-Cortez said in Wichita. “It was when we were deciding who we wanted to be as a country. It was when we were deciding who we wanted to be with the Kansas-Nebraska Act. The people who were … leading this nation said, ‘You decide’ to the people. 'Are we going to be a slave state or are we going to be a free state?’ And it was in 1861 that the people of Kansas decided that we were going to be a free nation. ... Back then, the people of Kansas were the tipping point for the future of this nation. Today, they are again."

Still, her call for massive economic mobilization to confront climate change is not without precedent. In June, the Berkeley City Council declared what it called a "climate emergency" with more global significance than World War II, and in a formal resolution, demanded an immediate effort to "humanely stabilize population" and "reverse ecological overshoot."

The resolution, which also invoked the global conflict between the Axis and Allies, charges that Americans bear an "extraordinary responsibility to solve the crises" facing the environment.

"[D]uring World War II, the Bay Area came together across race, age, class, gender and other differences in an extraordinary regional mobilization, building and repairing Liberty ships, converting car assembly plants into tank manufacturing facilities," the resolution reads.

A similar effort is necessary today to confront an even greater threat, according to the document: "[W]e can rise to the challenge of the greatest crisis in history by organizing politically to catalyze a national and global climate emergency effort, employing local workers in a mobilization effort building and installing renewable energy infrastructure."

More than 60 million people died during World War II, according to most estimates -- a huge portion of the global population.

But according to the Berkeley City Council, another thinning of the herd might be needed.

The resolution notes that "reversing ecological overshoot and halting the sixth mass extinction requires an effort to preserve and restore half Earth’s biodiversity in interconnected wildlife corridors and to humanely stabilize population."
climate change is a bigger threat than Nazi Germany/World War II?

is AOC serious or is this sarcasm, hard to tell with this person.

Antifa might well deserve a spot, but, pray tell, where exactly on that feculant video were, say, the white supremicists? Oh, right, the editors must have been running out of time (St. Ronnie’s screed was — thankfully — winding down) so they had to decide: American Nazis or Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez.

Dare you to defend that choice.

Might actually be — at least according to a US government report issued last year.

I don't know the context behind the video. didn't watch it, don't know who all was in it, not in it.

there should be no debate, Antifa deserves to be listed with hateful groups. they are nothing but domestic terrorists.

there should be no comparison to something like Nazi Germany/World War II. this is called fear mongering.

And so I did. So, if you watch the video, you might well ask: where are your beloved white nationalists who howled “Jews will not replace us?”

watching it doesn't change anything. if AOC wasn't deserving of being in the video, fine. if other hateful people/groups should have been in there, fine.

the point in my post was how ManRam mentioned Antifa, since he never wants to call out Antifa or have a problem with what they do. the far left doesn't seem to have a problem with the actions of Antifa, and that is wrong.
