You don't feel that the US government has any responsibility for what it permits to happen. That's fine. I disagree. We had an argument in our constitution about how to ****ing count the slaves for purposes of our electoral college and representation. That makes me want to puke... especially when a bunch of people start furiously masturbating about the founding fathers.

Benefit for the family unit ... Can't do it. Single parents have been so championed there is no way we go back and champion "nuclear" families. I don't know how you walk back the last 40 years of saying single parents are just as good. But we definitely can get rid of the laws that incentivize single parent homes.
I disagree that the effort should only be for black people. I think that anything that singles out a race is negative. Focus on making the laws and the rules truly equal and focus on people who are suffering, you'll get a lot of black people that way.
There are limits to cultural responsibility. This country was founded by people who came here, and in many cases were sponsored by, other countries that have a massive list of atrocities in their past. Are we responsible for their actions too?
At any rate. There is no point continuing this discussion because nobody here is for reparations anyhow.
trouble with the country today is that "fixes" require hard lines and actual sacrifice and effort.........we are in a 'Minimal Effort/Minimal Patience' society now. Pick your issue and that's what gets everyone all riled up...........Immigration?.....we want immigration controlled......except only you have to do it without hurting anyone's feelings, telling anyone no or anyone sacrificing a dollar. It's not possible. Fixes for anything are hard and we spend more time jerking around trying to figure out how to make it easy and pleasant on everyone and everything.

This is pretty good work on this post.
In summary....this is america.......guess what.......give an underprivileged area a huge reduction in crime so the law abiding people feel safe and don't get sucked into that same lifestyle and then give them access to their own jobs to make their own money..................BOOM......you got 'Merica happening![]()
I mean most of the complaints seen seem to be made up/fake/people can't provide evidence/just difference of opinion it's just that people get worked up by media etc. and her being "radical left socialist" and so on not actually her being anything horrible. She makes some mistakes for sure, is raw, needs more knowledge/experience in areas and so on but it hasn't been the worst thing comparatively to others in government like people make her seem even if as you mention she gives some easy punches to throw type thing.
I don't agree with her approach on reparations as stated though either and get why some have an issue with it for sure.
I guess my point is I care way less about what reps/dems/media are saying than many others on here haha. I think a lot of that stuff is going to be aimed at the left either way look at what they did with Obama, being a dem is the real issue.
It's an effective tactic because of how tribal our society is etc. but that says more about society/those people than individuals they attack.
