I don't know man. I have no faith in these two party. We are at a point where a billionaire is in the oval office cutting taxes cuts to his peer group which increase the national debt to the trillions, and the first time since Woodrow Wilson, racists feel free to stand proud to be a bigot. Putin is a nice guy, our European/Canadian allies are leeches and we are still fighting a war (as in killing people and for what?) deep into the second decade. Who the hell are we and how did we get here?

With these two party in charge, I feel we are slipping into darkness. It is time for some outside the box thinking. Something to counter-balance the madness of the republicans and democrats. I am more scared of them then a socialist.

the answer to one extreme isn't the opposite extreme though. 2 parties groom candidates and have money you can't compete with. Until we remove (or the party stops accepting) corporate and special interest money by the droves, the 2 party system is what we get, period.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

Is Ben shapiro the republican candidate for her district? Did I miss something. She is smart to tell him to blow. How would debating a commentator help her win her election. Just because some rich ******* wants to throw around money to show off how clever he is doesn't mean you should accept. If he wants to be a philanthropist he should be a philanthropist.

I think in the legislature there is nothing wrong with having the full spectrum represented. (So long as everyone there is willing to talk and compromise).

Yep the money needs to come out.

there is nothing wrong with the full spectrum being represented, but remember that means both ways. Compromise? What the hell is that?

Plus Ben Shapiro runs a clearly biased right wing web site with not the best record of factual reporting. do you expect right wing folks to go debate the dudes from the Daily Kos? It's just stupid

So she's not a 28-year old hispanic with a socialist agenda? What part of her is fraud?

    Are you talking about this?

If so I agree. She needs to get her facts straight. There are arguments for her policies, but speaking off the cuff and using extreme rhetoric is not the way to go... not that it won't win elections. We have learned that riling up your base can win you an election... But I prefer my side to be better.

    link?

And a question... could a 28 year old have changed their mind about things post bernie? Did you have the exact same beliefs at 22 that you had at 28? I was a ****ing libertarian at 22.

It isn't like we will turn into a socialist country overnight if we vote more socialists into power. These politicians voted in this system of close ties to big business and I don't see them voting against their personal interest. We have been talking about removing big money from politic, as long as we have been talking about improving our schools and see what all that talk have produced, nothing. They have a good thing going.

I am not going to accept a status quo that preach endless war, growing racism and an oligarchy state run by the billionaires.

I don't disagree with your premise, I simply think if an extremist gets in the oval office, it causes divide, versus positive direction.

We all saw the office can humble a man with Obama, whose inexperience was blasted by the right. And he was just fine overall. Maybe she would be the same.

This will sound terrible, and it likely is. I can't possibly vote for a latina woman to make decisions that matter. I have never met one that isn't fire engine red when they get upset and act impulsively instead of rationally.

If she can get the backing/funding, I would love to see where she can go. But she won't make it to the top imo. Too extreme and already lacking the facts.

And Trump isn't a extremist? He has turned our domestic and foreign policies on it's head. Allies are know competitors, and Putin is a worthwhile. Most american label him a racist. We voted in a white dude, who use to sneak into women dressingroom for a cheap thrill. This don't sound like a middle of the road safe vote to me.

I agree here wholeheartedly... As far left as I am in my views, I actually want a president who is left, but not so far left that they can't effectively govern. I would like to get back to the days when the president worked through congress... honeslty the last time it worked the way it was supposed to was clinton with the GOP congress... I'm not saying I liked the policies they produced together, but that is how it's supposed to work.
