She may be a political neophyte, and she is on record promoting socialist initiatives, but I’m not sure either qualifies her as stupid per se. She may have gotten lucky in terms of the primary race, but again, that’s not grounds for calling her stupid (in fact, seems to have been a pretty smart idea to have run against Crowley at this time).
She didn't know what the military budget was.

She didn't seem to know who Nancy Pelosi was.

She states that "unemployment is low because everyone has two jobs."

She claims "Medicare For All Is Cheaper Because It Reduces Funeral Costs."

Yeah, she's pretty stupid. However I admit to not having given her an IQ test.

New? They've been bandying that one around for awhile. They have zero ability to debunk any of our ideas. So that's what they have to resort to. Pathetic, isn't it?

nobody is afraid of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. she continues to be exposed for not knowing WTF she is talking about.
    she even admitted her ignorance.

LMAO. Hey dunce, first of all, I wasn't talking to you. I wanted to know where Sluggo heard that. And your quote says "a new face for the Democratic Party", which is a lot different than saying "a new face of the Democratic Party". The latter statement implies that she represents the Democratic Party as a whole, while the former does not imply that at all. Words matter. Keep embarrassing yourself.

How does that prove she is “everywhere”? If you google anyone with name recognition you will
Find articles. Give me more concrete examples that she is everywhere.

If this is the litmus test for stupidity (not knowing 2 things and being wrong on 2 things), then you agree that Donald Trump is also stupid?

No doubt Ms. Ocasio-Cortez has made mistakes — some because of misspeaking (in particular the tendency to generalize or exaggerate), others because of misinformation, and others because she’s parroting the party line. This a fairly standard in politics, especially for a newcomer whose meteoric rise in the heinous and insatiable media limelight has been extraordinary.

In all, those are not examples of stupid. Stupid would derive from an inability to learn from those mistakes — which she may or may not be able to do over time.

I did counter it. Pointing out your hypocrisy with a joke is way more interesting than engaging with someone who so clearly can't see themselves. A trump supporter complaining about politeness is like a fish who complains they are wet.

You have said that Ocasio-Cortez is a “pretty face with no depths to her beliefs.” She is a “potted plant”...an “opportunist” who made a “wholesale change” to “fit the latest trend.”

You alluded to some blogs she wrote about Adam Smith from 2009 to 2011 while studying economics in college (as reported by FOX News). Is that your evidence?

If that’s it, pardon me if I choose to reserve judgment.
nah dude... she is consistently wrong on simple basics positions... can she educate herself over time? sure...

at this point she continues to make a fool of herself interview by interview...

her key positive are her looks and willingness to parrot talking points with an expected future payoff

    its fundamentally embarrassing

Embarrassing — sure, maybe, at least at this point.

    Educable — probably

Fraudulent — arguable, most likely wrong, though time will tell.

If saying or doing things (even by rote) in expectation of a future payoff is your definition of fraudulent, then pretty much we’re all on that scaffold.

Your worst (and ridiculously dramatic) estimation of AOC is an incredibly spot on estimation of Trump.

Here is the thing though: What does the Democratic Party really have to offer? Elizabeth Warren? Nancy Pelosi? Chuck Schumer? Hillary Clinton? The bar is not set very high.

that is fine... I think Trump is a putz... doesn't mean I don't like some of his policies... no different than I would have hated Hillary but still supported some of her policies...

see that is the problem... you seem to think only one of the above two can be "bad" I see most politicians as bad with very little difference in policy other than rhetoric to feed the sheep...

on a practical level if the guy she defeated in the primary ran as an independent he would kill her... no one is scared of someone who is running in an uncontested district... why do you think she can afford to waste her time jetting around the country rather than having to work hard in her district to win.

Again... seeing her for what she is isn't a bad thing... I would much rather see here on tv than Pelosi or Schumer because I think she is a good communicator even though I am probably much closer to them in terms of policy.

LOL. You know me so well, babe.

I don't care if she's dumb as bricks. She ran a great campaign on a great platform. The more voices like hers the better. Even if she can't answer a few questions yet or isn't always the most well spoken.
    HELLO
