    Mets-Phillies thread

Might as well start one myself.

Phils lead 1-0 in the first thanks to a 2 out ground ball base hit that Cabrera couldnt even keep in the in the infield let alone make a play on.

Ive seen better range by senior citizens on walkers.

I'm convinced Nimmo is the only Met who scores on that play that was overrun by the Phillie CFer.

Ty Kelly now playing third base. Not Phillip Evans. Not Jeff McNeil.

    Ty Kelly.

Someone please shoot me now and put me out of my misery. It'd be a mitzvah, a public service of sorts.

    Thanks.

If Odubel Herrera went thru that ridiculous routine getting ready to hit with me, Id be tempted to bury one in his midsection.

Please, please someone on this god forsaken team go yard in the bottom of the ninth. 18 innings of this torture is more than enough for any human being.

Conforto has completely lost the plot.

And Smith has never had a plot... or an idea.

Biggest disappointment of the season. Expected big time production between him and Cespedes and instead nothing.

    Wilmer is the man though.

This was my favorite finish of the entire year.

Its crazy to think that Wilmer Flores (in a part time role, no less) has already cemented himself as a NY Mets Legend.

(With all the walk offs and the infamous Crying Game...how could you argue it?)
