But to say Magic is going to be superman and create apowerhouse in the west with lebron declining with no true second option, I don't see it happenning. laker fans are acting like magic is GOD and that he's going to do a really good job when in essence he hasn't really done much.

EDIT: and why the lakers FO draft Ball, im not even in a professional league and i shoot better than him and I only play pick up games IRL, 45 percent free throw? f### that's worse than shaq, lol.
Magic is off to a great start, Drafting Good, creating cap space and flexibility, signing LeBron.. I'll take my chances with him.. Ball ave 10 7 7 and played great defense at19 years old I like that. I'm glad you are not the GM Magic is right to hold on to Ingram Kuzma and Ball they all have All Star potential. The key to beating the Warriors is Depth. Add free agents, do not trade young pieces.. you need to be 10 deep to challenge Warriors

So if the LAKERS make the Western Conference Finals will you STOP calling us delusional? We can make a bet, and if I'm Right I can call All Celtics fans delusional

You might not like Lonzo but I guarantee you he was going to be a top five pick in that draft. Hart/Kuzma are total studs and since they are 22, they will mature and be more NBA body ready quicker than most younger draft pick players. Mastermind GM like the Raptors? It's funny Magic can do positive things for a team and has done well for his professional life outside basketball and you act like Magic is some turd off the streets who pays anyone. They signed a lot of players on one year contracts because they are waiting for 2019. These one year contract players can make an impact. They are also expiring contracts so if it does not work out, they don't have to be stuck in the hole. You guys are paying DeRozan+Lowry $60 million per year and those two have been getting destroyed by LeBron for God knows how long. Add in Ibaka's $20 million.. yeah, good GM alright!

I think the potential of Ingram and Kuzma makes them untouchable. Everyone else can go.

What are you talking about, he responded to the guy attacking magic and said he thought magic was better than their gm, his opinion just like the other guy's, and he's not even a lakers fan, who is the real bum here? I mean really, Magic might not be perfect, but I think anyone in their right mind would acknowledge he's done a pretty good job so far!

He's had the luxury of playing in the Leastern Conference, which has certainly extended his prime.

The way Lebron, I mean Magic and Pelinka, has been building the roster, it's obvious Lebron's ability to be a dominant two player are long gone. He's strictly an offensive player now, although he's still good for a flashy block once in a while. That's why Lebron, I mean Magic and Pelinka, have signed defensive specialists like Rondo, McGee and Stephenson. It's also why Lebron will lean heavily on playmakers like Rondo and Ball.

Lebron is still going to post elite offensive numbers for a couple of more seasons, but elite ball dominant players typically fall off the cliff after age 35. If Lebron doesn't, he'll be the very first.

Jordan turned 35 in his final season with the bulls. By that point, he was no longer capable of playing a 40 minute game at full intensity with anything left in the tank. He was still elite obviously, but his efficiency was dropping and he had the luxury of Pip, Rodman and Harp helping him defensively.

The differences between Lebron and Jordan is that Jordan had essentially taken 3 full years off before then, not to mention he was playing in college while Lebrun entered the league straight out of high school. Add to that, Jordan was and is the greatest off the ball player I've ever seen. Lebron meanwhile is ball dominant, although he knows that in order to extend his career, he can't be that same type of player.

Two years left in his prime, one riding solo. Maybe one more prime year with help.

I agree with basically everything you said except the Leastern conference statement. I don't think Lebron gets any worse playing in the west, or changes the timeline on when he starts to "lose it"

Would you consider Jordan a top 10 player at that point in his career? Had Jordan not quit on his team, I mean retired, do you think he could have been a top 10 player at age 36+?
    YOU JUST MADE THE LIST!!!!!

Billups was pretty traditional, J Kidd was pretty traditional, Derek Fisher was pretty traditional, Rando himself. I agree its kind of a stupid term b/c its vague but all those guys where more game managers and table setting ball handlers instead of combo attack guards
