Police investigating homicide of man found in home of Giants CB Janoris Jenkins

    Dianna Russini@diannaESPN
Police sources have confirmed a body has been discovered on the property of Giants Janoris Jenkins in Fair Lawn, NJ. Jenkins is not in the state and has been in Florida since camp broke. He is aware as are the New York Giants. Told this is a homicide investigation

    Mike Garafolo@MikeGarafolo
Per law enforcement sources, police are investigating a possible strangulation/suffocation as the cause of death in the case of the body found at Giants CB Janoris Jenkins’ home.

Yikes. Best case scenario, I suppose, someone just dropped the body there?

Positive ID made, per acting prosecutor Dennis Calo: victim is Roosevelt Rene, a 25-year-old referred to as "a family friend of the residents" in a statement.
Investigation continuing + cause and manner of death will be determined after a post-mortem exam.

How did the police find the body in Jenkins home? They'd need warrants to legally search the property. Not necessarily defending Jenkins here, there's just a lot missing with the story imo

It was reported earlier that someone who works on Jenkins property found the body and called the cops.

Sounds like Jenkins has been in his offseason home fore a while now and his lawyers are advising him to stay where he is.

They have a suspect, and it's Jenkins's brother.

If through the course of the nfl investigating whether or not Jenkins was involved they found out he peed on the sidewalk he will probably be suspended.
