I will root hard for the kid. Hopefully he is more like PG and less like Tim Thomas. Fizdale has a talented raw prospect to develop.

Given the circumstances, Im not as disappointed as I thought Id be. Knox is going to get plenty of burn with KP out and hopefully he can show a foundational skillset. If he needs some time then well suck and hopefully come away with a higher pick next year.

Knox is all frame and form atm but hes got time on his side. Hes not as well rounded and polished as Tatum was coming in, but his upper body looks stronger and hes got good shoulders. His lower body needs some attention and I wouldnt be surprised if he struggles inside because hes got a serious case of bird leg.

I made the Tobias Harris comp last week and Bilas agreed. At 9, I suppose it would be tough to argue with that outcome. But it will all inevitably come down to how MPJ turns out.

Kevin Knox has similar dimensions to rookie sensation Jayson Tatum and a young Paul George

He is arguably the most talented combo forward in the 2018 #nbadraft in terms of sheer ability + upside as one of this class' youngest players >> >> http://dx.im/Knox-Scout

Tatum had a quicker first step

    Props to Biv.

We (and many others) went at it with him through most of the draft process debating the merits of Knox v. Miles and Mikal. After his workout with the Knicks, Biv convinced me Knox was the way to go. Gotta respect that he had it before pretty much everyone else.

Now if we get Vandy ...

I think if he would have gone back to school next year and came out the same age as the rest of the class he'd have been averaging over 20 ppg.. That would have probably been a top 5 pick next year..

I know at one point in the 365 days that Michael Porter Jr was projected #1 overall. We are the perfect team to draft him. KP is already injured. Let KP and MPjr take the season off. Get a top 5 pick next year and then in 2019 we are loaded with 3 young studs and absurd cap space.

Too much risk drafting that injury plagued player. Knicks did well.

Knox is safe? I don't but that at all. Porter at least has massive star upside. We should be tanking this season and letting KP get 100%. Porter could rest the season too and learn the system.
