They we're mad. I wasn't saying anything irrational about free agency or the kawhi trade rumors. They always get like that when the Lakers are a threat.

Not the only way, but actually could be the better way for us. I think Thibs could be amenable to take Deng on, unlike SAS. With Butler possibly also being disgruntled our bargaining position is better and maybe we could give them lesser number of core pieces or picks. Ingram will be surplus though with Kawhi and LBJ on board and will get little ball.

I think our FO is going to stand pat. Ingram could turn into a Kawhi type of player this season, which is why LeBron wants the team to keep him. LeBron sees something in these young guys and he likes what he sees and actually thinks they can do some damage this upcomig season. Then go after some superstars in the offseason. I believe LeBron apporved of this or else he wouldn't have signed with us. So guys dont expect any big trade until maybe the trade deadline

Yea we'll see how it plays out, the Lakers are definitely in the driver seat right now we and can just wait, even if we don't get Kawhi, there should be a few good other options. We can be patient up to the TD and if the team isn't clicking or winning enough, we can make a move but we could have something special here... We have play-makers, dog defenders, ability to switch on defense, giving Lebron freedom to play off the ball and pretty good shooters surrounding LBJ. Bron can actually coast and rest through the season, letting Lonzo/Rondo bring up the ball creating easy plays and then turn it on in the playoffs. I think this team was well thought out and definitely discussed between Bron/Magic. Lebron wants to play more in the post and will be re-energized by playing the mentor role for this young core. I'm going to be happy whichever route the Lakers go and it's pretty amazing the job Robbby P and Magic have done in such a short time frame. I completely trust the FO in whatever move they make as they have been nailing it from Draft/Trades/FA's. It's pretty exciting time to be a Lakers fan, We're back and all the haters are mad, we're relevant again, they're trying anything to **** on us. **** em! Lakers 4 Life!!!!

Yup I think we made a offer and the SSpurs tried to **** us, I don't think Robby P and Magic were having nothing to do with it. We're in full control right now, no ****ing way they over-pay for Kawhi.

Although I have a lot of respect for San Antonio, their franchise and coach...BUT, let's actually look at this competitively. The Lakers now have LeBron, we don't need to reach for a supermax or any superstar now as we had to do in recent years and we don't have to give the Spurs anything. This is San Antonio's problem in how they did (or didn't) treat their star player right...grab the popcorn!

Best to simply be spectators to the Spur's drama and be there to make a deal ONLY to take advantage if a Gasol for Kwami-like trade offer emerges. In the end, I don't know if or where Kawhi will play next season, but by this time next year, I do expect to see him signing with LeBron and the Lakers with Ingram, Kuzma, Lonzo and Hart in purple and gold. I like that scenario way better than anything possible now and especially compared to where we were only a few weeks ago.

Before he signed, Lebron was rumored to have indicated to the Lakers brass not to do anything drastic. Lebron realizes that you need to keep valuable young assets, rather than a shortsighted attempt to win this season--which is pretty tough considering the Warriors have 5 allstars in their lineup. But, the Warriors will eventually have to pay all of those guys and lose some of them. The Lakers should not trade Ingram. He's only 20 and already average 16 points on 47% shooting. He's only scratching the surface of his talent. If the Lakers trade him, he'll just blow up somewhere else and then there will be major regret. Anyway, L.A. will be very attractive in 2019 to free agents. It's not like Lakers management has to wait that long. If they're smart on their decisions they can be in a position to win for many consecutive years the way Jerry West was very smart in how he built that Shaq/Kobe dynasty. The Cavaliers made panic moves that pretty much made their team a bunch of specialist with a very shoddy defense. Lebron ended up having to play most of the game and he looked winded.

Most of us feel that way and it's been a while since this team was in the playoffs, 2012 to be exact it feels good to have the Lakers on top or headed towards becoming a dynasty😀

Well, I grew up in Los Angeles, so it's kind of impossible not to like the Lakers. Just the gold uniforms alone. I wish the Rams hadn't changed their helmets to that ugly white. They could have matched the Laker colors. Analysts said that basketballwise, Philly was the better choice, but I disagree. For this simple reason.... it's much easier to convince free agents and even grizzled vets to come to L.A. where they can enjoy the sunshine and the luxury.
