    Ohtani TJS

It's become very likely that Ohtani is going to have TJS and will likely be out until the 2020 season

Yup. Not surprised. Their were issues reported with his UCL before he even came to the states.

Injuries are disheartening. Itís too bad fast-pitch softball never overtook baseball in popularity.

My god what a let down for the sport. Two way players of is caliber are pretty much non-existent ad I don't want to say for this reason, but mostly cause well it requires you to be that good at 2 different sides of the ball. I mean it's amazing to think some guys are so talented they don't just have one ticket to the majors, but 2.

Oh well. Not too surprising. Still likely to end up a good signing for the Angels.

As a hitter, he could be back at the beginning of spring training next season. He could DH without risking further injury.

The Angels GM has refuted the Pedro Gomez report. While TJS may still happen, at this point I wouldn't say anything is likely until the Angels go through the first steps.

Sad. But knew it would happen eventually given the news in the offseason.
