It will COST picks to move out those contracts ... they won't get them in return ... is that what you were saying?

And Bamba won't be in range of the pick I don't think.

They have enough to bring in a max contract. I thought that's what he said.

Lakers odds shortened a lot the last 1-2 days, now fave (at sportsbook):

    Lakers +150
    76ers +225
    Rockets +300
    Cavs +600
    Spurs +800

It would be hilarious watching Kobe fans root for LeBron if he goes to LA.

I just hope they don't let LeBron force them to give Chris Paul a big contract as well. Please just go to Houston then...

pretty much everyone who was critical of LeBron over the years can be traced back to a love affair with kobe/Jordan hero ball. what better way to eliminate that entire segment of dissenters than to play for Kobes former team. genius.

If true this could be an indicator of where he is playing next year should family be his greatest influence to his decision.

He's going to Houston or Philly. More than likely Houston. Zero percent chance he goes anywhere else. I cannot believe people actually think hes going to LA. Laughable.

Well, many teams need a S&T to get LeBron. That's fine. Embiid is not a slam dunk to play 82 games and has had some notable injuries in the past. Simmons is also too raw, especially since Boston made him less relevant in the post season.

Butler is one of the best two way wings in the game. KAT is just scratching the surface and is one of the best bigs in the game.

The point is to beat the Warriors, right? So why not consider all the options? Toronto should be included in the mix since Lowry and Derozan are one of the best backcourts in the league. But LeBron is about marketability. People do not consider Minny marketable enough. Toronto is marketable, but not to LeBron's inner circle.

I sense a bit of sadness in here. Soon you won't be able to rip on the Lakers anymore.
