this and its ********... I have said it all along. I have also said this is a deep draft... There will be really good guys from 1-15 but I dont see the superstars at the top that other people do. Dont be surprised if a team like the knicks at 8 get the best player in this draft.

With the lottery in place, this is how I could see the draft going

    #1 Suns: Luka Doncic
    #2-Kings: DeAndre Ayton
    #3 Hawks: Marvin Bagley
    #4 Grizzlies: Jaren Jackson Jr
    #5 Mavericks: Mo Bamba
    #6 Orlando: Michael Porter Jr
    #7 Bulls: Wendell Carter
    #8 Cavaliers: Trae Young
    #9 Knicks: Mikal Bridges
    #10 76ers: Robert Williams
    #11 Hornets: Kevin Knox
    #12 Clippers: Colin Sexton
    #13 Clippers: Miles Bridges
    #14 Nuggets: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

It would be ideal for the Kings to get Ayton, but the Suns look to be dead set on taking him.

I would just hate for a player like Doncic to get picked by the Kings, where he just wont be able to fit in with those guards.

Divac should do what's best for both, and draft Bagley or Jackson instead. Neither of which are as good as Doncic, but they fill a need the Kings desperately need down low.

Ayton is going to be great, but I'm thinking the Suns are going to take Doncic. The prospect of Booker/Jackson/Doncic is going to be very appealing. I am always worried about the Kings drafting anyone because they could easily ruin any prospect. I would be actively worried about going to Sacramento if I were a top prospect.

We would play Doncic at small forward. From what I've read, he should fit well with Bogdanovic, Fox, and Hield.

    Fox/Mason
    Bogdanovic/Shump/Temple
    Doncic/Jackson
    Giles/Labissiere/ZBo
    Cauley-Stein/Koufos
    6th man - Hield

That would be my guess if Giles is really the player that they've been talking him up as. That'd be a team with a lot of talented passing and scoring versatility.

I do think Ayton would be safer for us, but a center and SF are our two biggest holes, and with analysts saying Doncic will likely play SF, the top 2 prospects fit those holes.

International players are tricky to evaluate. That's why my Lakers chose Russell over Porz. But look at the players taken early such as Bargnani, Darko, etc. all busts. So its more of a 25% chance they pan out to be a good player. I think he goes 4th not 1st, too much pressure for the guy to go 1st.

This was at the Palmer House. Thatís where I stay when I go to Chicago.
Iíve always liked Jami Gertz and I had no idea she was an owner of the Hawks.
Hope Doncic is a stud. Have a few Slovenian friends and theyíre legit.

Can't see PHO passing on Ayton. They have a gaping hole at C. With Booker and Jackson already in place I see Doncic as more of a luxury on this team than a need.

Maybe, maybe not. It is the Kings after all. Their draft history isn't great (although I like Fox) but even if they do hit, that team is still incredibly young, playing in the West, in the toughest division in the NBA.
