Apparently it does. System seems broken if that's true.

If I was a betting man, which I am, I would bet he's been juicing most of his career.

Eh. Think they would have caught him earlier if he were juicing

No idea. Thatís whatís being said and it seemed like MLB also confirmed it when they dropped the press release

A known masking agent for PEDs.

Sucks, but he's def. doing the right thing by just bowing out of this one although I am sure more will come out to counter what his statements made seeing as he never mentioned that this was a failed test he actually did appeal. His statement made is seem like he never appealed it.
The right thing to do is to admit he was caught. If an athlete thinks its okay to use PEDs, he should not be a ***** when he is caught and pretend it was a mistake.

And what about all the other cheaters they caught? Were they also not juicing up until they time they were caught?

Don't be so naive. I'd say more than 3/4 of MLB players are using PEDs. Some are just better at navigating the system to avoid penalties than others.

What a moron. Another Yankee/ex Yank to use steroids. I wouldnít be surprised if he juiced up with A-Rod and Melky in the past. All that natural talent and he turns to PEDs. Sad. This will hurt his Hall of Fame chances for sure.

I don't think they'd let him ride out the potential suspension during a DL stint. If so, that'd be pretty lame.

Everything I've read so far says he will start his suspension while on the DL, so I don't blame him for taking it. He was probably going to miss 40-50 games anyway so might as well tack on 30-40 more instead of 80 additional.

Robinson Cano receives 80 game suspension for Furosemide

They were caught the very first time they tried PEDs! [emoji108]

Sure, some. I think 75% is high for steroids. But for amphetamines it isnít hard for a player to get a legal script for Adderall, and MLB allows players to use banned substances to treat legit medical conditions as long as it is approved in advance by MLB - something Cano did not do.

Also, the suspension is meant to be a punishment for the player, not the team (unless said team reaches the postseason, then the player is not eligible).

I think it makes sense for him to get to serve his time while on the DL. the team loses him for 80 games and he loses 12 million bucks or so. if 40 games or so on the DL preceded his suspension, thats not fair for the team
