    That's in his newest mock?

Carter Stewart is an intriguing name. 6'6 with a high 90s fastball and an impressive mid 80s curve. Law has him going 7th in his mock.

I also wouldn't mind seeing the Braves go with an under slot player and trying to grab a couple top guys like we did in 2016.
Mmm, I'm not sure that's a good strategy this time around, a couple of teams have multiple picks before we take our second player, if one or two teams have the same strategy we are going to be in a terrible spot.

Draft is tomorrow night, most recent mocks still have us taking Gorman so it looks like he's our guy, I'll be fine with him or Liberatore.

Jonathan Mayo and Jim Callis of MLB.com both mocked Carter Stewart to the Braves. This is the guy I'm hoping for.

I hope it comes up most during the 8th pick. He has one of the highest, if not the highest ceiling of any of these pitchers. Best curveball in the class plus his frame profiles well for being an innings eater.

Stewart is ranked #2 by Keith Law and #5 at MLB.com so he will be considered a steal at #8 by the Braves.

We took Carter Stewart at 8th, had a chance to pick between Singer, Liberatore and Gorman so I guess they got the guy they wanted.

Good pick from what I've read. Seems to have a very high ceiling and huge at 6'6"

Hopefully in about 5 years he’s still considered a steal!

Love both picks. Stewart is an absolute stud and Jenista has huge power potential as well as a good bat for average and played multiple outfield spots and first last year.

Read Jenista could have 70 grade power. Also is supposed to be a good athlete for this size.
