    Depends on who you ask.

If you have never lost anyone to terrorism…it is torture.

If it prevented your airplane from being blown out of the sky…it is not torture.

Some people' principle shifts with their emotions or if things gets to personal for them, I guess. Torture is a wrong, I don't condone my government using it.

Yea this is an argument that someone who doesn't understand either the law or basic grammar would make. Is it the former or the latter in this case?

Water boarding is absolutely torture and there is no question about that. The only real question is whether you are ok with employing torture to attempt to prevent terrorism. I am personally not willing to empower the government to do so.
Think long and hard about why you respond to nonsense. Please!

Yes. Shouldn't really be up for debate. The question is, is using torture to gain valuable information from captives acceptable?

Please let me know what is it that I don't understand.

If a little waterboarding would have saved the World Trade Center, you would be against it?

If we need info from a prisoner what should we do? Just ask him politely? Maybe offer his a happy meal?

Can we use drugs to get info? How about sleep deprivation?

What about a sniper? Is that OK? Or is that killing someone in cold blood?

What do you think happens to our people that are captured?

Some things in the world are not all that nice. I wonder if some of you people understand that.

I would prefer to use a method that was effective to save lives rather than get my rocks off beating on a brown person.
