You would think that would definitely hurt the odds of LeBron going to LA if he can't get another superstar to join him. Could this be enough to steer LeBron to Philly??
I think home with newly built basketball court is driving lebron to LA rumor because of his sons and various business interest.

I got my money on houston for lebron though. If they let cappella walk, could they get a cheap Noel?

Also: Too much is made of the Bron LA house thing. So many NBA players have houses out there. Heck on our team alone Biid, Simmons, Fultz, and Cov all have a house or condo out there because that's where their trainers and skill coaches work out of.

If Bron goes to LAL and PG stays in OKC, it's about Magic giving Bron the ok to dictate everything to basically be the GM.

If Lebron's words of wanting to be a traditional SF and wanting to be off ball more, there's no team better suited and pre-built than us. If we bring in Bron, I would bet that JJ takes a discount to stay, we use 10 on a 3-n-D (either Bridges), and we can get an athletic wing player on the minimum to come off the bench.
Houston is much better place than us for him to do that.

I might be willing to let Paul go and add lebron and resign cappella.

    Harden
    Gordon
    Lebron
    Forward
    Cappella

Make the finals. They can beat warriors.

True. Adding court presumably for his sons is the kicker.

The Rox had the Warriors on the ropes before Paul went down, they should just look to strengthen the team without Lebron and making all those concessions. If they can move Anderson they gain some flexibility.

Just thought of this but reports coming out that Popovich only plans to coach another season or 2. I wonder if he'd be interested in coming here as our President/GM?? Great relationship with Brett Brown. Gives our owners an extremely respected face to the organization to replace the whole Colangelo mess. President/GM allows Pop to stay involved with the game but without the day to day grind that coaching demands.

Why wouldn't he just stay within the Spurs organization?
