^ don't worry, this is one of those moves that makes you say "wtf no fair" for a min. then you remember who GS is, and what Cousins is, and a smile spreads across your face. This is a guy who dominates while the losses pile up.

He never had those problems with Team USA as the talent was simply too much, which is how it currently plays out right now.

Even then, Cousins doesnt have to play a single minute and it still dramatically affects the landscape of the NBA. He could have had a positive impact (though not title changig impact) on most teams and they just lost out.

Get paid $5M to recover in peace and get a guaranteed championship. Not bad. Where do I sign up?

LeBron should have stayed in the East.
ďItís about winning,Ē Stoudemire said. ďYou win, youíre going to get on national TV. Simple. In Phoenix, we won ó Western Conference finals three, four years, playoffs every year. We won. If you donít win, nobody really wants to see you.Ē

Nah. IMO Lebron's move at this point was about building an empire. Every single one of Lebron's moves are calculated and this move will probably trigger a lot of things from a business perspective.

Basketball wise, this is an excuse to take pressure off of him now. Him making the finals as part of the East doesn't really add to his legacy. The only thing that adds to his legacy is if he stayed on the Cavs and won against the Warriors and that wasn't ever happening. Going to the Lakers kinda takes pressure off of him.

But as a raptor fan Iím sure happy he didnít. With the team theyíre building around him he may not even make the playoffs out west. I donít like the additions theyíve made at all.

I really hope he continues to play Boogie Ball and starts getting mad that he only gets 10 shots a game. 8 of which will be 3 pointers.

Also Irving might beat him this year. He wanted to avoid that. For family and business reasons it makes sense. He is clearly not chasing rings.

Donít think they really need his contributions. But the depth is amazing. If they had a key injury, DC can step in.

They donít. The question is can his ego handle being a defensive minded player first because thatís what they need from him. No more having the ball in his hands all the time on offence. He really shouldnít be shooting any 3ís now TBH. Dude should be around the rim at all times on this squad.

For him he is looking for some numbers and a championship. He chose GST over Boston apparently. So he wants a ring and parlayed it in to a big contract next year.

The NBA is over..... No one is touching Curry, Thompson, KD, Green and Cousins. They essentially have a potential lineup from team USA as their starting 5.

As a side bar, does anyone think its batsh*& crazy that Houston gave CP3 4/160? He'll be making 40+ Million at age 37!

Cousins doesn't care about touches he just wants to win. Only reason he started shooting 3s in the first place was because of the lack of talent on his teams. He definitely has an ego but it's not the same kind of ego that Kobe has. More like Rasheed Wallace.
