    The NL needs the DH!

Yankees have Giancarlo Stanton hitting cleanup at DH. Mets have Jacob Degrom hitting 8th at Pitcher hyper extending an elbow because... HES NOT A HITTER! It is not fair that the disparity of talent is so one sided. Itís never been fair. The NL needs the DH. Itís time Manfred! Itís time. BRING THE DH TO THE NL

Your argument is missing a key piece.......last year's injury to Nelson, and the almost injury that happened to deGrom.

Thank you Yes I was going to add that. Pitchers are getting injured trying to hit. Pitchers look foolish at the dish... it is so beyond time for change.

DeGrom is going to make his next start but wonít be swinging the bat.

Itís going to be 2-3 automatic outs that game. Itís ****ing useless

I know man. Pisses me off. Callaway said heíll just stand there and not swing and if needed heíll bunt. Such a joke!

And if he's making mechanical adjustments because he got hurt swinging the bat...........it's just pointless at this point. Let me see pitchers pitch, and hitters hit.

Is it fair when the AL pitcher bats in an NL park? AL pitchers don't get the same amount of batting practice that NL pitchers do. NL bench players also have more opportunities to pinch hit because of the pitcher's spot.

I feel like we see this thread every few months, and from the same posters.

    It's an opinion question

I like the different leagues. I enjoy the rare opportunity that a Yankee pitcher actually gets a base hit. Severino almost hit a grand slam last year.
I did not, however, enjoy Chien-Ming Wang ruining his career trying to run the bases 10 years ago, so I certainly understand the pro DH argument.

DH baseball sucks. NL baseball needs to stay NL baseball.

I'm on the fence. I don't really care either way. I used to be dead set against it and hated it, but I'm fine with it at this point. I'm really surprised they haven't done it yet. I'm sure they will eventually, especially the amount of money starters are getting paid.

Today the Phillies took Arrieta out of the game at around 80 pitches and a dominant performance minus one solo HR because they didnt want him to bat, and they ended up losing because of their BP
