    We'll take a catcher that is really good defensively or can hit, we don't need both. But we can't have a guy who is terrible offensively and defensively.

    Which is why we should start Nido. We know he can be a good defensive catcher, and there's potential that he becomes a good hitter. But even if he doesn't hit, at least he defends. There's zero excuse for Lobaton to be out there.

    Love it. Mets are off to an historic start and leading the Nationals (again) and most folks are biotching about the catcher position following two injuries.
