New York Yankees @ Boston Red Sox April 10,11,12 IGT

New York Yankees @ Boston Red Sox
Tuesday, April 10, 7:10 PM ET , Fenway Park

    Luis Severino, RHP

Severino gave up just one hit in 5 2/3 scoreless innings on Opening Day in Toronto, and two runs in 7 1/3 innings on April 4 vs. the Rays. He was brilliant in two Fenway Park starts in 2017, allowing just one run on seven hits in 14 innings.

    Chris Sale, LHP

The lefty ace gets the start in the first of 19 rivalry matchups this season. Though Sale is just 4-4 in 12 starts against the Yankees in his career, he has a 1.81 ERA and .193 opponents batting average against them.

New York Yankees @ Boston Red Sox
Wednesday, April 11, 7:10 PM ET , Fenway Park

    Masahiro Tanaka, RHP

Tanaka is coming off a loss to the O's in which he allowed three runs in 6 1/3 innings. He beat Toronto in his first start, allowing one run on three hits in six innings. In his past four Fenway Park starts, Tanaka allowed six runs in 30 1/3 innings.

    David Price, LHP

The lefty has dazzled in his first two starts, allowing no runs over 14 innings. Both those starts were against the Rays. Now he gets a big test against the Yankees, a team he is 15-11 with a 4.36 ERA against in 37 starts.

    To Be Announced

    Rick Porcello, RHP

The sinkerballer is off to a strong start, winning his first two outings while walking one and striking out 11. In 18 career starts against the Yankees, Porcello is 8-8 with a 3.27 ERA.

Hopefully Tyler Austin can rock Chris Sale like he did last year.
Should have Sanchez and Hicks back, they will help.
I'd give Gray the 3rd game. Anyone but Cessa. Gray would be on normal rest bc of the off day today.
I'd love to see Judge have some success as he struggled vs Boston last year, and it'd be a perfect time for Stanton to wake up.

    Go team!

This was a greatly anticipated series coming into the season but they way we are playing I'd be happy with some good chemistry, good sound baseball and a series split.

I'd be impressed if the Yankees manage to split the three game series

First 10 games as a Yankee:

    Giancarlo Stanton, .699 OPS
    Babe Ruth, .678 OPS
    Reggie Jackson, .726 OPS
    A-Rod, .637 OPS

    So, uh, maybe relax?

What was Tino Martinez first 10 games as a Yankee?

He was booed just as bad as Stanton. People overreact!

The RedSox hot start is helping their cause to win the EAST.

Currently they just need to play .500 baseball the rest of the season and they would have 87-88 wins. Slightly higher and they are at 95 wins!

    Joel Sherman

    @Joelsherman1

Hear #Yankees are bringing up Shane Robinson likely to replace Jace Peterson on roster. Robinson is a more natural OF (area of NYY need) plus hits RH and #Redsox start LHs Sale/Price 1st 2 games of this series, afterward Hicks might be ready to return.

Looking back, his injury really sucked. At the time, there wasn't really anywhere for him on the MLB roster. But he would've gotten sooooo much playing time with Jake and Hicks being out.
