His career ERA is 4.00 and 1.40 WHIP......So one decent season 4 years ago means he is a solid #3? That just goes to show how terrible this team is...
Just a Met's fan surrounded by Phillies fan's standing strong behind enemy lines

    Wheeler had a career 3.50 ERA after 2014 with a 1.34 WHIP.

Zack wasn't good last year after missing two seasons, but this season he's starting to put it together while reducing his walk rate by a good margin. He definitely has the stuff to be a #3 or more. Just needs more reps.

On the bright side, Harvey has a 5 ERA since joining the Reds.

I don't really find any joy in that. The dude would have been our ace if not for all the injuries. The championships we could have won with him...gah. I hate that he's been robbed of his talent, because it means we've been robbed of his talent, too.

How about Yo saying he doesn't think he can help the team? LOL! Love the Mets.

I do only in the sense that the Reds can't flip him for anything of value. You also had a lot of Met fans thinking he was going to return to his previous glory just because he changed uniforms.

    Yup

And is not like the guy they got for him is setting the world on fire either, aside from a couple of homers.

He's a catcher who literally can't catch the ball. That's a new one.

I wonder at what point he might realize he may pitch better out of the bullpen. Well... maybe he wouldn't since he is worse through 25 pitches than afterwards.

The Phillies have scored 26 runs so far this month. Their offense isn't good and it looks like they have similar problems generating offense that the Mets do.

They'll be fine. Still a better team than we are.

    lol.

"He was the fastest catcher I ever saw running after a passed ball."
"Ain't got the call no more. Got a lot of sinful idears – but they seem kinda sensible...."

Every time the Mets sign someone I hear these weird sounds.

Former Met, Eric Goedell’s father invented synthetic HGH.
