MVP caliber bat so far. But Roberts gives him too many days off.

Scooter Gennett hitting a scalding .311/.354/.543 since the beginning of 2017.

Isn't he a FA after this season? Setting himself up for a nice payday for sure.

And the guy the Cards got, and the Cubs didn't because they pivoted (is my understanding)

Has 9 walks this year in 79.1 IP (12 starts) and a 3.09 FIP with a 2.27 ERA.....and he costs less.

Mikolas has been much better than I even expected, and I was the huge optimist on him in the off-season after we got him. And he's way out performed my greatest hopes.

I was pretty disappointed when you guys signed him. It seemed for a time that we were a shoo-in to bring him in. I will say that Chatwood always scared me but I was intrigued by his stuff just like the FO.

It's frustrating that we brought in Hickey to try to cut down on the walks and they've gone way up instead. The guy is not having the impact we hoped he would yet.

Why do the Rockies continue to go with Bryan Shaw in the late innings? He is fn awful.

And the Orioles gave him up in a package deal to the Astros for...........Bud Norris.

Who then sent Hader to the Brewers for.......Carlos Gomez and Mike Fiers. Also in that package with Hader was Domingo Santana.

Which the Brewers would have never got if it wasnt for the Mets cancelling the trade because Gomez failed his physical
