I completely forgot Married with Children! I watched that a lot as I got older.

The syndication ones I loved were Cheers, Frasier, NewRadio, and Seinfeld of course. King of Queens wasn't bad actually, just couldn't stay interested. Everybody Loves Raymond can go suck a nut. It's THE example I use when explaining to people that sitcoms in the last 30 years have relegated the man to be a stupid idiot who is so weak minded he would die if not for his wife's protection. Seriously, most sitcoms paint the Dad out to be a bumbling idiot. I have no clue why.
King of Queens was sort of like that but Doug was simultaneously smart and an idiot lol. I also like it because the show had Carrie have some genuine weaknesses whereas generally the wife on a show doesn't really have glaring problems compared to the husband.

KOQ was much better, from the angle I am talking about. For sure.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

He was great in True Romance too.

But those are the shows I always made sure to watch, growing up as a kid.

Roseanne and Coach's final seasons should be stricken from the record
