Bears haven't really had a burner like this since Knox. Funny enough, both attended Abilene Christian

Bears to sign WR Taylor Gabriel

Another solid move for Pace. Love this signing

I think a 1-2-3 WR Group of Robinson/Gabriel/Meredith is pretty solid now.

Pace has done a really nice job here overhauling this group. Really no need for a WR in the draft until day 3 now IMO.

All the focus needs to be on CB, OLB, OG...and I'd imagine one of those holes are filled this week too.

Can’t wait to see how Nagy uses him and Cohen. Two explosive weapons for sure.

I like this off season so far at WR (and kicker). I still think they need to draft 1 more, but they do not need to reach in round 1. 2 of the WRs are coming of knee injuries (Robinson and Cam) and I could see another veteran that slipped through the FA cracks being signed later to a 1 year prove it kind of deal for depth in case or bringing back someone like Inman.

Wheaton has no bonus money left, so maybe he stays until camp as well.

Not bad back up plan to missing out on Wilson. I'm guessing they hold onto Wheaton until draft. If they get someone they like on day 3. Then they will cut Wheaton.

I agree that they could use one more because of the injury risk, but I would probably wait until the draft on that front. I'd like to use the rest of our FA resources on addressing the OL, CB, and adding depth at OLB.

As far as this current group of receivers go, I love the versatility. ARob is the go-to outside the numbers/jump ball guy, Gabriel will stretch the field, Cohen and Burton will be all over the place, Shaheen will be predominantly over the middle and a massive red zone target. No idea where Cam fits in here, but he should have a nice role as well. Suddenly a lot of options for Trubisky to work with and I can't wait to see how Nagy & Helfrich deploy them.

Maybe stop referring to him as a slot receiver.

I think we’ll see Meredith in the slot quite a bit.

Probably so, but Cohen and Burton will see a ton of snaps there as well.
