Allen Robinson intends to sign with the Chicago Bears

    @AdamSchefter

And just as the first QB domino has fallen with Case Keenum to Denver, the first WR donino now has fallen with Allen Robinson intending to go to Chicago.

I didn't think he would get that much off an ACL tear.

Nice to see Chicago finally getting some talent on the outside. I want to see what Trubisky can do when he is actually throwing the NFL caliber WR's.

I mean... their top 2 WRs were injured last year, no?

With how their RBs did last year, gotta think they go 'run first' offense.

Must be the best money he got offered. Tough division/conference to go to if you want to win.
    First 4 years:
    Brown - 54 GP, 27 GS, 261 catches (63.3%) for 3,561 yds (8.6 AVG), 15 TD
    Landry - 64 GP, 57 GS, 400 catches (70.2%) for 4,038 yds (10.1 AVG), 22 TD

Huh. Wonder why Landry is getting paid so much...

An injury prone WR going to a city that only has injured WRs? Damn.

Good for him though. The more help for Trubinsky the better.

1 torn ACL does not make you injury prone.

A torn ACL greatly increases the chances that you'll either tear it again or tear the other one though.

Isn't really a stretch to assume he'll tear it again eventually.

Got the data on that to back it up? Because I'm not buying it till I see that backed up.

Yup, getting Meredith back will help with along with adding Robinson. At this point I have no idea what White will give you. Howard and Cohen should probably be the focal point in the offense though.

Not injury prone but 'injured' is more where I was going. Chicago seems to just produce injured WRs year after year for the past couple seasons so adding a just injured Robinson is kind of fitting.

Web search usually works well for common knowledge:

Second ACL injuries six times more likely after reconstruction, study finds

    Date: July 11, 2013
Source: American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM)

    Summary:
Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) surgery is a common knee injury procedure, but the overall incidence rate of having to go through it again within 24 months is six times greater than someone who has never had an ACL tear, according to researchers.
