Eating a $22M dead cap number to save $3.9M?

Gotta think the Dolphins GM is being fired.
    First 4 years:
    Brown - 54 GP, 27 GS, 261 catches (63.3%) for 3,561 yds (8.6 AVG), 15 TD
    Landry - 64 GP, 57 GS, 400 catches (70.2%) for 4,038 yds (10.1 AVG), 22 TD

Huh. Wonder why Landry is getting paid so much...

"Hater" is a term used by weak minded people in the face of legitimate criticism.

He's still a top 10 DT, that's a huge addition to the FA class. I think it depends on if he wants a ring or a pay day.

Such a stupid move, why not keep him for a year and then cut him when the hit is a third of that. It's not like the guy is playing like crap still elite.

I guess it's because they're trying to change the culture... That's what I saw on Twitter.

so SUH could get $32 mill this year if he signs a 1 year $10 mill deal? Or is that $10mill deducted from the Dolphins contract?

I think it will be deducted since there is probably a standard NFL clause to prevent double dipping. I think the Dolphins would pay the remaining guaranteed money way beyond the future, probably in the form of an annuity.

Seattle doesn’t have the cap but could use a guy like him. Dallas again doesn’t have the cap but he would be a good addition.

I might be able to see a Detroit reunion.
Cleveland and SF with their cap space will always be a good bet.

Their new culture is based on lack of talent. Anyone with talent must go!

I guess they figure it worked out for the Eagles with the whole Chip thing.

The dude seems to be business first, at least the last time free agency came around and his chatter before that with the lions. Can't be certain this time around but i'm still leaning towards a big payday, since this will most likely be his last big contract.

I'm hoping we pass. Still a really good player but we don't need the drama with our team.

I'd rather draft someone like Marcus Davenport if he slips to the 2nd round, or maybe Rasheem Green.
    The Baker is coming.
