Well he got $13 mil in year one. So close.

Sorry I meant to say him signing with a division opponent. I would have thought he would have signed with a team like Pittsburgh, NE or the Eagles. Someone not in NFC West.

I think that $4.5 would of been enough for a one yr tryout out.

Actually, he got 2mil with a 5mil signing bonus plus 6mil in incentives.....he may not get 13mil in any of the 3 years

Now that I see what year one without incentives, I guess it doesn't seem as bad.

How many times will people react to a reported number the 49ers sign someone for only to realize upon the details of the contract coming out the 49ers did up a very savvy contract.

First it was Kaepernick, then Garoppolo and now Sherman. You'd figure by now people would learn to trust that maybe the deal isn't that bad.

So $7mil at least this year with the possibility of $13mil. Still almost double than the $4.5 the Pats fan was willing to go to.

Again it a place where people say "Oh I wish my team were in on it, but I want to give up far less than what he ended up with."

I was right when I said the Patriots never offered him a deal. Reports now say he was never contacted by the team. SMH.

Well that $2,000 TV is priced at 200 times what I'd be willing to pay for it!

Which means... well... no one is sure.
    First 4 years:
    Brown - 54 GP, 27 GS, 261 catches (63.3%) for 3,561 yds (8.6 AVG), 15 TD
    Landry - 64 GP, 57 GS, 400 catches (70.2%) for 4,038 yds (10.1 AVG), 22 TD

Huh. Wonder why Landry is getting paid so much...

"Hater" is a term used by weak minded people in the face of legitimate criticism.

when would they have had the chance? as soon as the niners showed interest, he wasn't going anywhere else...he wanted to play against the Seahawks twice a year

He confimed that today too. He said when they called him right away he wanted it because he knew what it meant for him.

He seems the type that needs the chip on his shoulder.
