Need to start winning more games in the division. Ideally we go at least 500 but it's time to start winning 4+ of those again. The division is pretty damn tough though.

THIS!! Plus 2 of those losses (MIN & NO) were against 2 of the best teams in the league & we got hosed in New Orleans.

    2019

10-12 wins, team should be a full on playoff contender. It will be the 2nd year in Nagy's offense, Trubisky's 3rd year in the league and Fangio's defense should be rolling. All those factors should make this team a legit playoff contender in 2019. I know the division will probably be real tough, but by this time Pace will have been around more than long enough to build a contender.

If this isn't the contention timeline over the next two years Pace should fired the second the 2019 season ends. This gives him 3 full seasons to see what Trubisky truly is and 2 full seasons to see if Nagy is the goods.
    Yep yep yep

Not saying I wouldn't feel good about the 2019 season if they win 7-9 games next year, but I would be disappointed if we missed the playoffs with Mitch on his rookie deal again. If this team is ever going to win a SB it's likely going to be on Mitch's rookie deal. I want as many chances at it as possible.

    Simply a false narrative.

    Coaches
Fox - fired with one year left
Trestman - fired with 2 years left
Lovie - fired with with one year left

    GMs
Emery - fired with 2 years left
Angelo - fired with 2 years left

I mean, at least try and make a factual argument.

Given the talent added to this roster since the end of last season, 7 wins has to be the floor. This team should be competing for a Playoff spot unless Nagy is just incompetent.

Not sure if this has been posted but thought it was cool.
Nobody posted it. But this culture seems to be on the rise which is good. Getting people motivated about playing for the team. Inspired. It may seem like nothing but i think its under rated honestly.

We may have lost but we were close in most of our games. And without key starters too. There is alot of reason to be excited.

Looking at the bears what would u guys say are our bigest needs right not.

To me OLB is the biggest clearly. After that Saftey (just i see no depth behind Amos and Jackson) although i remember hearing i think Hicks mention Hall as a potential breakout guy.

While Corner could use some depth I feel no better or worse than last year. I think some of our backups have become slightly under rated around here. Crevon LeBlanc graded our surprisingly well as did SHERRICK MCMANIS

Offense seems relitivly fine. Would like to upgrade RT over massie but at the same time we could survive a season with him too.

Freeman retired from football and this also saved the bears money

    To add to Jerrell:

Free agent ILB Jerrell Freeman has retired from the NFL.
Freeman missed most of last season due to suspensions. He was effective when on the field, finishing with 598 tackles and 12 sacks over his six-year career. A three-down linebacker, Freeman started every game he appeared in. Freeman's history of concussions forced him into early retirement.

Good for Freeman, it was the right move. He was a beast on the field but concussions and head trauma shouldn’t be played with. Wish him all the best.
