The NFL is demanding reimbursement in excess of $2 million from Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones for court costs related to star running back Ezekiel Elliott's suspension and Jones' threatened litigation over commissioner Roger Goodell's contract, sources tell ESPN's Dan Graziano.

Partly yes. But he said it had nothing to do with the Elliott case which isn't true. The NFL also wants the legal bills for that case as well.

Looks like what's actually happening is that Jones is getting fined for "conduct detrimental to the league" for his actions during both the Elliott court case and Goodell contract extension.

Seems more like a round-about way of recouping those court costs.

Differing articles out there- some say it's a fine, others it's recouping legal fees...some say it's about holding up Goodell's contract negotiations, others that it's also about the Elliott case.
    gotta love 'referential' treatment

So the dude that starts this thread bashes Goodell because he thinks Goodell has hurt feelings for Jones calling him out. Then it turns out this is from the other owners wanting money back for court fees and that dude hasn't posted since. We get it that your'e a Jones nut huger but at least come back and say that you were wrong.
