They are 11 million under the cap right now but I still dont think they do it.
I hope we learned from the Kam Chancellor mistake and don't buckle.

The Eagles are projected to be 30 million over in 2019.

They should approach 2019 aka. the last year of Dak Prescott's rookie contract like the Rams are handling this year.

I read an article from a guy who covers the Cowboys and he said Kavon Frazier will start but be replaced by Xavier Woods in the nickel (on passing downs). I'm not sure how true that is. It also doesn't quite make sense, since Jeff Heath is the SS, the position you would expect to be a run defender specialist in such a scenario.

Raiders sign DE Frostee Rucker (from Cardinals).

Depends on how this crop of young players are doing. They gotta be close to having the youngest starting 22 in football so it's hard to say. They are hoping they wont have to do what the rams did.

The young players are nice to have, but also having a starting caliber QB on a 4th-round rookie contract is a HUGE advantage, which the Cowboys had fall into their lap through sheer luck and what you're suggesting is basically going, "nah, we are fine, don't need advantages like that."

The Rams didn't *have* to do what they did either, but they're maximizing that same advantage by signing players to short-term contracts and trading away draft picks for players on cheap, short-term contracts.

How do we know what the Rams did will translate into succsess? Dallas still has to sign Lawrence and if they do trade for Thomas theres another huge contract. They trust the draft right or wrong. Jones has been down the FA path. Maybe a veteran here or there but hes not going to give up on this group of young players and go haywire signing FA.

We'll just have to wait and see. If it goes well, it would be a strategy the Cowboys could emulate in 2019.

How do Eagles fans feel about Mychal Kendricks's skills on the field? Honest opinion here.

His best trait is blitzing the A-gap, which he only rarely did in Schwartz's scheme. He had 11 sacks in 39 starts as a 3-4 ILB from 2013-15. (= 4.5 sacks per 16 games.)

He's very athletic but sometimes lapses in coverage. For example, a healthy Jordan Reed was a big mismatch. Other than that Kendricks is a good three-down LB.

Biggest weakness probably is that he shouldn't be used as the defensive playcaller. He slows down if he's asked to do that.

Andrew Luck threw footballs in front of the media for the first time since last October.

Though he's been throwing for a few weeks in secret.

Reggie Bush will receive $12.5M in damages from the Rams, for when he slipped and tore his MCL on the then uncovered concrete in the Edward Jones Dome.
