So Richardson sucks after getting paid, and the Redskins are the ones to sign him after he was cut. Sounds like their typical signing.

Happy for the guy personally. His play really dropped off last year and felt like the contract stuff got to him. I hope he lives up to his deal in TEN.

Still, he'll be better than our starting RT Shon Coleman (who was the 3rd worst RT in the league last year).

Sitting here lightweight salty about Johnson to the Jets. 15 million? Wow. Huge contract. We would've had to offer at least 17 or 18 to get him to consider. Tough to get dudes here. Understandable, though.

With everyone healthy, the Browns definitely have a Top 5 OL now.

He's solid, filled in really well, but he's making more than either one of our tackles now. Villanueva (Thank you Eagles for that one) restructured from $8 mil to $4 mil. Gilbert slated to make a shade over $7 mil.

If you asked me was Hubbard worth more than either of our starters....the answer is no.

FWIW I looked back some and saw I said he's filling really well. What knocks down Gilbert some was the fact that he was injured a bunch then suspended for PED use.

Both the Jets and Cards have signed two FA starting QBs and plan to draft one. Taking the same approach it seems.

Tennessee going HAM on NE players

    Butler 5 for $61
    Lewis 4 for $20

Signed Logan Ryan last year for 3 for $30 last year.

I like Butler and Ryan a lot. Great people, good/solid players. Neither are elite though. Neither ranked in the top 45 for CB play last season - yet combined they'll make about $24M this year....That's a lot of dough for not Elite CB play.

Happy for the players though. They worked hard for that money. Unfortunately I doubt either one lives up to their contracts.

Jerick McKinnon to the 49ers on a 4 year deal.

TE Darren Fells to the Browns on a 3 year $12 mil deal with a reported $6+ mil guaranteed.

It really is. On another site I said if the Steelers entertained a trade for Bell; San Fran would be a good partner for both sides. They have some things we could use, and Bell would do amazing in the zone Block one cut scheme.
