Bleacher Report had an article about players switching positions and the most intriguing one was Holton Hill to safety. Thoughts?

I've read that too on twitter. I don't know enough about his game, though. He is a very aggressive in the run game so maybe he could play strong safety. We're deep at corner so it certainly would help his chances to make the roster if he learned some safety.

I would think the only one he could supplant would be Jayron but perhaps they would keep him as a 5th CB with the ability to play both.

Darren Wolfson was on with Andy Carlson last Friday and said the names he heard that stood out at OTAs were Jeff Badet, Mike Boone, Tyler Conklin, Mike Hughes, and Brian O'Neill. Neither QB brought in is going to push Sloter.

Mike Boone seems to be the favorite for 3rd RB. He was a WR in high school so he has great hands. It's still early but they may be more optimistic that O'Neill starts sooner rather than later like expected.

I'd expect him to be moved around a lot.

I don't expect him to make the team unfortunately. Too many guys in the Dline rotation to carry him on the roster unless he turns out to be a special teams coverage monster. Would like to be surprised but I'm more interested in Bower, Weatherly, and Aruna.

I don't see him being on the dline. Our depth at linebacker is terrible.

Mata'afa is tough because he played most his time at 3T but he's too small to play there in the NFL. He has zero experience at LB. DE is probably his best chance in the NFL. He might be just athletic enough to be a rotational DE and special teamer but it's going to be tough for him to carve out a role. I'm a big fan of his but he's a long shot to make the 53. I could see him sticking on the practice squad because everything I've read about him raves about his work ethic and personality. He might end up being a guy who works hard and carves out a decent career.

Josh Rosen has looked stellar and will strongly push for the #1 with Bradford. It's still early but I liked Rosen a lot and I still can't believe the Browns did not at least take Darnold. Mayfield struggled his first day on OTA's throwing 3 picks.

You would have thought that new leadership would have changed a few things lol. I like Mayfield as a college QB. I'm rooting for them though, that fan base deserves better then what they have gotten.
