IT is athletic. but doesn't play defense.

in previous years thompson really got after it, he seems like a shell of his former self now. and kyrie is def missed, he was a dynamic scorer. everyone is older, slower and lazier.

Well when IT gets going he'll cover up the Kyrie loss. TT is in a completely new role off the bench but is hopefully replaced by Jordan or someone. The bench is much better this year. They'll be fine, just have to get everyone comfortable and back to their normal selves.

Kyrie is way more dynamic that IT was... at least in Boston he is anyways... ...

Not sure when the sentiment that Kyrie and IT are equal will die lol.

A good thing for Cleveland is that they can easily forget what happened yesterday and get back at it tonight vs Indiana. JR Smith really needs to play better on the court though. It he's able to keep Oladipo to a modest scoring night, then they should be able to pull it out.

They aren't missing his athleticism much? Dude is the quickest player with the best handles in the NBA.

This seems to be your sentiment consistently and youíre dead right.... a lot of Celtics fans couldnít envision any other player leading the team and loved everything IT stood for and everything he did for our team... with that said I think it took maybe all of 3 games for fans to realize Kyrie gave this team a better chance to win and it wasnít even close. IT is still my favorite player in the league... but itís really not difficult to see who the better player is from an unbiased perspective

From a truly unbiased perspective (stat wise) let's look at their #'s:

    Isaiah 16/17: 33.8 MPG: 29/3/6 on 46/38/91 (63% TS). 26.5 PER. .234 WS/48. 6th in the league in O-RPM

    Irving 17/18: 32.5 MPG: 24/4/5 on 48/39/89 (59% TS). 24.0 PER. .213 WS/48. 8th in the league in 0-RPM

For what it's worth, those #'s don't flesh out any advantage for Kyrie, that's for sure.

IT had one great season and all of the sudden is he elite lol. Smh.

The off-season was hilarious, there are people out there that genuinely think that team got better. Can't wait for the playoffs honestly. Wake up calls all around.
