    Cmon man
ehhh Yards will go up because more deep passes will be open with a run game. but you are right, we won't throw as many short passes but we will throw less passes like you said... in my mind Stafford won't force things as much

idc about the stats tho. this team is dangerous on offense if we can have a run game with a coach who knows what he's doing... just been waiting for this forever. this next hire is vital for the sake of this franchise

Next hire is vital. While I agree, I’ve heard that way too many times over the past number of years.

But seriously...how can u tell the difference between all those stats you listed and being elite, and throwing 5000 yards and not being elite?

They’re all volume stats, but how do u differ between the two seasons? Serious question.
this year compared to Stafford's 9 seasons:

    Completion % (2nd)
    Yards (4th)
    TDs (T-3rd)
INTs (T-1st lowest, excluding 2010 when he missed all but three games)
    Sacks (T-1st highest)
    Rating (1st)
    40+ yard completions (T-1st)
    Rushing (5th)
    Fumbles (2nd), lost fumbles (1st)

    League-wide 2017 ranking for:

    Yards (3rd)
    TDs (T-4th)
    20+ yard completions (4th)
    40+ yard completions (1st)
    Sacks (2nd)
    Fumbles lost (T-1st)

I can see why he wants Jim Bob back. we need a run game and better blocking, can't get that when Caldwell makes his buddy the O-Line coach

The year he threw for 5000 yards, that stay made him “elite” to you and all the other Stafford fanboys. Then a few years later, it was his completion %. This year it’s whatever you decide it is. Do you see why people have an issue with your stats? You pick and choose whatever fits your narrative of the week.

You gotta admin(and I'm pretty positive you have) that Stafford has had a pretty good year.

Best player on offense no doubt. That wasn't really the point though.

    Yeh yeh.

I wonder if we've ever been this good in the division and missed the playoffs. Only the Vikes beat us and only we beat the Vikes.
