I think except for the gun control part of #6 this is a good list. There was never any serious about controlling the weapons that have killed thousands and thousands of people and injured tens of thousands more.

I chuckeled at your lack of ability to read the op's post.

I wonder if the flap over Fake News and/or the polarization of the press might get an HM as well.

FYI. When putting together a list in no particular order, it's less confusing to use bullets (pardon the pun on the gun issue) than numbers.

    I know it's nit-picking, but I'm just sayin'

Charlottesville and the Alternative Right should also be joined with Antifa. without Antifa then Charlottesville would not have been on the same level.

the anti-Trump movement seems to be getting dumber

Yeah and I laughed even harder when I read this pathetic, try hard, comment.

Whether we’re comparing #1 to #8 or #3 to #7, nobody can deny that the NFL protests is by far the stupidest, most redundant, and easily the least important one on the list.

Sure, Russia investigation is also ridiculous but that has to do with the actual president, how he got elected, who he speaks to, etc. NFL garnered so much interest because the president threw a temper tantrum...I hope you can see the difference.

What’s also funny from a PSD users perspective is that nobody talks about the opioid crisis anyway. People still love talking about how terrible it is to kneel....

Yeah just read that off NBC News and other internet sites. Really Opioid has been hitting young people and those under fifty. Since 2010 as the numbers are staggering on deaths.

Without the Alt-right, Charlottesville would not have been on the same level. Lmao. What a pathetic attempt to shift focus.

Yea I don't know how the people that didn't kill anyone are to blame. That's some fancy footwork.

what did I say that was false?

were those white supremacists/Nazis going to have the same violence with themselves?

it is an undeniable fact that had nobody from the other side/Antifa showed up with their intention to be violent then it would not have had the same results. that does not excuse the actions of those on the right either. these hateful people that also showed up to the rally with the intent to be violent were also wrong.

I don't know why it is so difficult for you (and others) to continually act like those on the left like Antifa have not also had their own violent actions. it would have to be stupid and ignorant when there is information showing that Antifa has been violent.
this is not taking away and blame from the violence on the right including this person that used a vehicle to commit murder. but that day Antifa also had their own violence and that also deserves some blame for what happened that day.

the anti-Trump movement seems to be getting dumber

does violence not count unless it results in a death?

    do you hate facts?
if you disagree with what I said then offer evidence to back it up.
if what happened in Charlottesville is going to be a top story of the year, then people shouldn't ignore people that had a role in what happened and why. Anifa played a role in what made Charlottesville as big/bad as it was. that is a fact. white supremacists/Nazis can themselves have hate and want violence, but if nobody was there to counter their hate then how could anyone expect that Charlottesville would have exploded in the same way.

this should be something simple for everyone to agree on, that there was hate/violence on both sides.

the anti-Trump movement seems to be getting dumber
