Win tonight and the Warriors have the top record in the NBA and that #1 seed some people think is critical.

warriors perimeter defense on ball has been bad all season- as shown by his shooting percentage in relationship to his average. it isnt luck when your not playing defense at all on a guy

They were playing him for the drive and giving up the 3 and he's been making them pay.

it is possible to play a guy for the drive and still reasonably defend the shot (esp when he has as slow of a release as ball does)

Should not be this close. Can't let the Lakers score all over us.

They open up for switching and they are trying to see the other players and the ball. They are giving him space intentionally. He shoots 27% from 3 and when he drives he scores or assists at a MUCH higher rate. The correct way to defend him is to tempt him to shoot. The fact that he's hitting doesn't really matter for the first few shots because you expect him to regress to the mean. Make a plan and change it slowly, you don't give up the planned defensive scheme without time to implement a replacement and the percentage play was to ask Lonzo to shoot the ball.

That seemed more of an issue with the rookies since then than a positive for Bell
