I guess this thread becomes a little more important...
Seriously, the Viking would have to go on a 4 game losing streak. & wed have a get on a 4 game win streak.

Big surprise that we lost to all 3 teams that we could possibly end up tied with.

Yet again, we seem to be the best of the worst. Or worst of the best. However you want to look at it.

Atlanta won, Carolina won, Seattle won, we lost to Minnesota.

4 things that we needed the opposite to happen.

What are the odds of Carolina & Atlanta going on a 4 game losing streak while we go on a four game win streak?

Remaining schedules (tough matchups in red, easier in purple):

Panthers (8-3): at Saints, vs Vikings, vs Packers, vs Bucs, at Falcons

Atlanta (7-4): vs Vikings, vs Saints, at Bucs, at Saints, vs Panthers

Seahawks (7-4): vs Eagles, at Jaguars, vs Rams, at Cowboys, vs Cardinals

Lions (6-5): at Ravens, at Bucs, vs Bears, at Bengals, vs Packers

Cowboys (5-6): vs Redskins, at Giants, at Raiders, vs Seahawks, at Eagles

Packers (5-6): vs Bucs, at Browns, at Panthers, vs Vikings, at Lions

A lot of difficult schedules coming up for all the teams in the wild card hunt. The biggest question mark? The Tampa Bay Bucs. They play 4 of the 5 teams. They could lie down to get Gruden a better draft pick, or get hot when Winston comes back and kill a lot of teams' chances.

Out of the 6, I'd rank their chances like this:

    Panthers 10-6
    Packers 9-7
    ----------------
    Cowboys 9-7
    Lions 9-7
    Falcons 8-8
    Seahawks 8-8

9-7 and mediocre draft pick sounds about right

i could see us going 10-5 and needing a win vs the Packers to get into the playoffs. Rodgers comes back and beats us.

We end up at 10-6 but Caldwell gets fired. i would't mind that

the day Quinn realizes that Rim Baldwell isn't the man that can lead us to the superbowl is the day this team can become serious contenders.
