I get worried about having a payton OC or Reid OC... they aren't the guy

Carmichael has called the plays in NO for 2 years and Peterson is a Reid guy that has the best team in the league right now.

This Carmichael does not get the credit he deserves as an offensive genius. If pace feels he has the right personality and demeanor to handle being in charge then they should go for it.

Carmichael is the reason the Saints offense has taken off this season. He realized they have two dynamic RB and if they lean on them, they can be successful.

Get him, some good receivers, and I think you'll see a lot of progression in the offense.

Iíd be happy with Reich, Nagy, or Carmichael. Obviously, who those guys can get as coordinators will be a big factor too.

I like Carmichael a lot because of the way they're using Kamara. Loggains and Fox continuously make excuses for Cohen not being on the field yet there are several examples of pass catching RB's around the league that play a ton of snaps and Kamara's been one of the best as a Rookie.

I don't know how he is personality wise (though I did read that he's pretty reserved) or if he can command a locker room, but he's clearly a very good coach.

Whether you like Pace or not he should at least be given the opportunity to hire his own coach and George McCaskey can stay the **** out of it this time.

Iím warming up to Harold Goodwin, Arizonaís OC. Former Bears assistant. Heís been with Arians since Pittsburgh.

Could bring Pagano w/ him. Coached under him in Indy.

Not a Carmichael fan. Donít think he has the right temperament for Chicago. If thatís the guy Pace was committed to, he would be here already.

What do you mean by this? Carmichael interviewed last time, but it's pretty clear that Pace wasn't the one making the hire.

Anyway, LaFluer did work with Kubiak, so that's something. A guy with only 1 year of OC experience is a little scary though. I'd prefer someone a little more seasoned than him.

Patricia has been running a 4-3 the last several years and his Defense is 2nd worst in the league this year. I don't see the appeal TBH.

I think Pace would have been more forceful that Carmichael was his guy during his hiring process.

Iíve watched a few videos of his interviews, just not a fan of his mild personality.

It was never his decision to make, as has been rumored since the beginning, and recently confirmed by Bears writers and people that follow the team closely.

I voted offensive, but am not opposed to someone who is defensive/special teams. Just as long as the HC can bring in quality QB/offensive coaches, I'm fine with it.

I think Ernie Accorsi had a great deal to do w/ the Fox hiring. I donít think it was a completely forced relationship tho, I think Pace was still on board. Maybe Accorsi sold Pace on Fox.

He chased Fox all the way back to Denver to meet w/ him a second time. Rumor is also, Sean Payton called Fox to vouch for Pace.
