I liked Joe until that sad *** rant against Beltran, after that I lost all respect and never listen again.

I never heard that rant. What was he against Beltran on?

Yeah I cringe sometimes when he talks about the Jets. You can see he doesn't always know what he is watching or what he is talking about. *****ing about Mims when he was hurt, complaining about the Adams trade, etc. To be fair though, he was dead on about how bad of a coach Gase would be.

They announced today that Carton is coming back. I guess it will be him and Evan in the afternoon.

Jets I know nothing about so he or anyone else could screw that up and I wouldn't know. Not a Jets fan.


But i'd rather take someone who doesn't always know what they're watching or talking about over Carton any day.

Dak was putting up ridiculous numbers before he got hurt. Not that I liked either guy but I would have taken McCarthy over Gase every day and twice on Sunday.

We disagree on many things but it seems like a consensus that we think Carton is a clown. I hated his fake machismo and the way callers fawned over being part of that club. Beningo was benign to me. The passion of a depressed NY fan with the intelligence of a seven year old didn't make for great radio. I thought he pulled down Roberts. Not sure where Carton will take him. Of the remaining on-air talent I enjoy listening to Maggie, and I still like running early Saturday morning errands listening to Richard Neer who is far from an expert, but knows how to reasonably consider both sides of a situation.

Trump was giving a rally in Reading, PA which is Piazza’s hometown. He is entitled to his political opinion.
