    I guess we'll see. But baseball is a business, and if I'm the FO I would want him to opt-out and walk to save the money. His fastball hitting only in the 88-90 range should be a huge red flag.

    I wouldn't necessarily say that I would want him to walk, but I wouldn't throw more money at him if he opts out.

    there wouldn't have been a game 7 nor would it have been against the Astros... it would have already been wrapped up

    Congrats to Kershaw winning his 150th game today! Last 10 games (back to Jun 28):

    - Innings: 64.2
    - ERA: 1.96
    - WIP: 0.87
    - Walks: 8
    - Strikeouts: 58

    that is all nice but the decline has begun. he will be lucky to hit 150 innings this year

    The bigger issue is the DL stints the last 3 years... can you really count on him to be available.
