I know the Frank thing is a big part of how Knicks fans occupied themselves the past few. I'll just add he was very young and is still young, has shown flashes and seemed to be making a big step when this pandemic started. I know it remains to be seen but I'm glad the overall rush to dump him on the scrap heap (so the Warriors or Spurs can grab him) seems to have slowed a good deal.

Frank has the prototype body to be a a top level player in this league.

That's not easy to find. Developing him should of been the knicks day 1 goal since we drafted him, but that hasnt happened.

Hopfully we give thibs time to see what he can do.

If he was stupid and didnt work hard I'd say move on, but hes not. It's the knicks own fault he hasnt progressed much.

The Knicks hosed this kid. Rookie season: Coach Jeff Hornacek didn't want him to go overseas to play because he wanted him to work on his game doing what again? Second season: David Fizdale doesn't encourage him to use that sick vulture wing span by driving to the basket. Nope. He's a three point specialist, like Marc Gasol project. Fizdale, then fizzles. Frank says #$@ it. Goes overseas to play and comes back, a more poised and shows the potential he had when the Knicks drafted him.

I'll say it before and I'll say it again. Goran Dragic took FIVE seasons to breakout. We're not talking eye popping numbers. No, we're talking just getting to double digit ppg. He bounced around the Southwest part of the NBA before having a breakout season in Houston. Knicks then coached by D'Antoni had a chance to get him twice but as Knick expert Alan Hahn reported, Steve Nash was the price...he went to LA instead.

You can't teach genetics and you can't teach desire, two attributes a 22 year old kid has. And you want to give up on him...just like the last TWENTY years worth of draft picks who almost never last 3 seasons in New York.

    Silly.

Frank is going to be an UFA at the end of 2020-2021 season. Part of me hopes he leaves and never looks back.

If Goranís competition was Emanuel Mudiay instead of Steve Nash we would have seen more sooner.

I think Frank gets more run this year then he has in any other year.

Thibs values what Frank does more then any other coach that he's had prior.

With trust and mins come confidence...

With confidence comes more exponential improvements than the gradual progress we've seen under Hornacek and Fizdale....

I think this becomes a big year for Frank...

We may finally get to find out who we drafted....

This is who I think Frank can be at his peak... Problem is he will have Frame, and maybe Skill of Jimmy but Jimmy has elite level dog and will. Frank ain't got that.

With the NBA season possibly being pushed back till February 2021, I'm hoping this gives Frank Ntilikina some time to attend the voluntary work outs, work with the coaches and more time to develop and get in tune with the new system.
