1994 Strike - Would the White Sox had won the World Series?

I think other than the 2005 Season this was our best shot to win it all. Do you think the White Sox would have won it all this season had the strike not happened?

I was stationed near Riverside, California that year. They had a Stratomatic World Series, White Sox vs. Reds.
The Sox came back from down 3-0 to win it all. I don't remember the details anymore, but it was exciting to read about it in the newspaper every day.
IMO, absolutely the White Sox would have been champs.
In reality, Cleveland was pretty good and I think Montreal had a pretty good team, so who knows.

An Expos vs White Sox world series would've been awesome to see.

That Expos team was damn good though. Cliff Floyd, Will Cordero, Larry Walker, Moises Alou, & Pedro Martinez.

I think the Sox could've won though, wish we had a chance to see it.

Marquis Grissom too. Yankees were pretty tough I know that year as well.

It's a shame, that was easily Frank's best season too. 1.217 OPS and on pace for a 54 HR/145 RBI with 152 runs scored in that season. Rotation was pretty solid 1-4.

The Big Hurt was the MVP that year also. Either Theeee Yankees or the Sox would of won it is my call.

Still feel that the 1983 squad had a chance also. Bats went to sleep at the wrong time in the ALCS. Felt we could of taken the Phillies also like the Orioles did.

If we had won game 4, lost it in extra innings - we had Hoyt going in 5.
I think that's the game Dybzinski screwed up on the base paths and cost them a run, I won't swear to it, since it was 34 years ago ... but if he doesn't screw up and scores, Sox win and force #5.
